STEEL
Steel windows and doors are all the rage right now because they're sleek, strong, and gorgeous. Due to the strength of the steel, windows made from this material can have very slender sight-lines. That means there's a minimal amount of framing material needed for structural integrity, so you get a cleaner look with less framing and more glass.
These windows are made from solid steel sections which have been hot rolled from new billet steel into carefully designed profiles or shapes to form frame assemblies and ventilator assemblies. There are four types of hot rolled steel windows, defined and categorized by the weight per lineal foot of the combined frame and vent members.
